Which was the greatest warrior of Arda´s mankind, in your oppinion? For me, its Elendil. He almost pwned Sauron (albeit with help of Gil Galad) and was generally a cool person

I think it ties between Hurin Lord of the Dor-Lomin, Aragorn Ellesar, and Eorl the Young. Though Tuor and Turin come close.

But, yeah, Hurin is cool too. Resisting alone against trolls and orcs, trying to survive and killing a lot of them, is admirable

I'm not sure you can really compare the heroes of the Edain to the lesser Men of later ages. It's also not a thing really subject to knowing, shall we say.
As for feats of incredible martial prowess, it's hard to beat Eärendel and the slaying of Ancalagon. However, the finest mage in the history of Arda has to be Lúthien, and her hubby kinda has to serve as counterpart to her, or it would be horribly anticlimactic...

You´re right, the Hadorians/Numenoreans arent the same as Gondorians/Rohirrim. And I forgot helluva lots of other characters...
Perhaps I rename the poll to "your favourite warrior of manking" instead of greatest...
