Found two problems. I can't sign out. It goes to an error page. Also in the main forum page there is a "Moderator CP" that is fully accessible!

I have the same problem as Spahbod.
&module=global%A7ion=login&do=logout
in the url should probably be
&module=global&action=login&do=logout
.
Changing it to this logs you out.

For you yeah ;) I.e. it should most definitely not be available for non-team members. All in-team user groups should have some moderator privileges as we've added that for the task/user forums (i.e. all programmers have moderator permissions in all programmer user forums, might not be 100% accurate as we might have forgotten to add them, but since we're moving more and more away from using the forums to track tasks that isn't really needed anymore anyway), there might be some settings that makes all moderators global moderators - or one of us might have enabled that at one point for all I know, I don't remember. In either case I don't think it's an issue if someone who's on the team has mod privileges, if we allow people commit access to the SVN we sure should be able to trust them with mod privileges in the forums ;) (Admin privileges is another thing though ;) )

Logout used to work. Someone at some point edited the templates and it converted '&act' into '%A7' for all links.

The same bug used to affect the mark as read link, but I fixed that one.

I wonder if this is a character encoding issue with one of our browsers. I don't think any one would intentionally edit those links -- that just seems strange.

Ah yes, I missed out a bit. It should have read '... and it (their browser) converted ...'

I registered yesterday and have not been able to log out :( using Chrome as my browser so that issue still exists.

I'm having difficulty with the search tool. The search doesn't seem to bring up posts before 2011. Also, when I look at a member profile (part of the retired group) and go to look at their posts, it won't pull any of their posts or topics. Can this be duplicated and possibly fixed?

I took a look at the search problem. Using advanced search, I set my search range between 2008 and 2011. I got results from before 2011. Also, I noticed that the default is to sort results by the last time the thread was modified. It appears that it'll find posts from further in the past, but it's the thread's date that appears.

I'll look into the retired user issue.

My initial guess is that the system pulls the posts from the last X unit of time. I was able to find some retired users that are still active and have items pop up in their feed (Centurion_13), and then users who haven't been active for years and have nothing in their feed (Curufinwe). Based on the dates I'm seeing, I'm guessing the limit is 1 year.

I'll dig deeper and confirm.

Cool, thanks for looking into it. With the advanced search and using the dates I was able to find what I was looking for. There seems to be some broken images however. Please check this thread out:

(The images are hosted on other sites, or rather were, so that's probably not something we can fix unless we can get the images from somewhere else.)
