Hi, I guess you guys don't really know me well, mainly because I'm a cofounder of my own game studios and have been REALLY busy with that.
Anyway, I was wondering who made the main page? I'm wanting to make a few similar elements for a project I'm doing but have no idea and I don't want to steal.
Can anyone offer some insight?
Thanks, Alyssea.

Ok
Well, I don't know who created it as that was before my time here, but would you please enlighten us to what elements you're interested in. That will make it a lot easier for us to help you

The 0 A.D. website is data driven by our forums. It interfaces using IPB SDK.

I was actually meaning the graphics, such as the borders, corners, banners and whatnot.

Perhaps CodeOptimist and DarkAngelBGE made it.

I made all of the art for the website, was there anything in particular you were interested in? Most all of it is .css powered.

To tell the truth, I'm interested in knowing how to make something like this;

or this;

As I said, I don't want to steal, I want to make.

or this;

As I said, I don't want to steal, I want to make.

Both those textures were taken from photo references. You should be able to find more of this type here (or take your own):
http://www.environment-textures.com/
Straighten the image. Use your photo program to tweak the colors as you want them. Use a simple plugin like this (or offset tool) to make the texture 'seamless'.
