Wow guys, I got this game not too long ago and I am completely hooked. I mean within the little time I have for recreation these days, I like to bang out a round in an RTS or FPS game. Multiwinia is truely addictive and totally stratagy based. I got it during the holidays when Steam was doing those mega sales. Think it cost 3.99 or something at the time for both games. Anyways if you havent check it out!

Got them and can only agree with Matt, at least about Darwinia, haven't really played Multiwinia yet.
There are two things I really like about Darwinia, the story and the fact that the difficulty really is up to you in a way, on a lot of the levels the enemy is confined to certain areas while you can move further, and bring units from an area to another etc (I think there is a setting too in case you feel it's too easy). Another thing that's nice is that although I got a fair amount of crashes when the game was loading a new level I just had to start the game again and continue as everything was automatically saved.

Played Darwinia when it was first released, and it's great
. The gameplay and the story and the graphics and the audio are all quite simple, but they fit together and work really well. The level full of souls floating up into the sky is one of the most strangely beautiful things I can remember seeing in a game...
