Kinect/wii remote support for Oad

I now this may be a long show but could we get some sort of Kinect/wii remote support for Oad

If someone else is willing to do the work perhaps, but I doubt it. You'd probably have to redesign the entire game to work with such controls, so it's at least not something we intend to work on.

I can't imagine how you would use either of these devices to control 0ad effectively. I wasn't being serious in irc earlier. Though if anyone has a kinect and a projector then I still think that making atlas work as below would be very awesome.

Anything else than mouse and keyboard for an RTS game doesn't really make sense.

It's possible to play the game with a Xbox360 controller? In Linux with
Userspace Xbox/Xbox360 USB Gamepad Driver for Linux
In Windows with the privative drivers.


I try it!
I've always played RTS games with mouse and keyboard, but is interesing to include gamepads in the control interface.

LINUX FOREEEVERR!!
