Greetings. I just wanted to report the fact that I have been playing Alpha IX and have found it very enjoyable. However, whenever I attempt to save a map I have been working on with atlas editor, the game crashes. I use Mac OSX Snow Leopard and downloaded the official build the day after its release.

Yeah, the same thing happens on other OSes, as a symptom of not having proper mod support in Atlas. One thing you can do to save maps: extract the public.zip in 0ad.app/Contents/Resources/data/mods/public, then you'll be able to save maps inside there. That's bad behavior though, we shouldn't write anything inside the app bundle, but currently there's no other choice.

For me it works fine. I have installed alpha 9 (had alpha 8 before and reinstalled) and the SVN version somewhere else. I manually added the directories
C:\Users\[User name]\AppData\Roaming\0ad\cache\mods\public\maps\random
and
C:\Users\[User name]\AppData\Roaming\0ad\cache\mods\public\maps\scenarios
like said here (it's somehow hidden IMO).
It works with both, Alpha 9 and SVN version. Don't know it this helps in this case and which folder it is exactly for Mac...

Posted Image Im Übrigen bin ich der Meinung, dass 0A.D. Auslöser braucht. (IMO 0A.D. needs triggers ASAP.)
