I just placed my order for HoME XII: Peoples of Middle-earth today - should arrive between February 2 and 4

heh ... and i was seriously thinking about asking your birthday and quietly ordering it on amazon.com

but don't underestimate vol.11 War of the Jewels - i'm reading it right now - there's nifty stuff in there

*the 'complete' Grey Annals (meaning the revised Beleriand-part of the Sil)
*a whole chapter (called 'Eldar and Quendi') about elven speech (even Valarin (!)) which expands upon the Etmytologies from HoME vol.5

and many more ...

Yeah WJ I hear has lots of goods stuff - especially Q&E - I was reading it partially at the bookstore.

I can't find WJ here, but I've found PoME and it costs 20 euros (21 dollars approximately). All the books I still don't own are ridiculously expensive

By the way, during my last re-read of UT I've noticed I tend to analyze little details, like descriptions of weapons, uniforms, etc, in a much deeper way. It seems working here in TLA has really affected me

why don't you try the current sale @ amazon.co.uk - they have the book for GBP 6.99 (thats roughly 10,- or 11,- EUR)

you'd need a credit card though - and i'm unsure of the service & postage fee (since i always order from germany - they don't charge service and postage fee when ordering above EUR 20,-)
