Now that we finally know what leaders will make it into the playable civs. of TLA, here you can post what civ. leaders you wished could have made it to the final cut. Who knows, perhaps they can become TLA heros someday.

The Hunter’s servants held the dark green gem,
They worshiped it as the Hunter’s Eye,
A Helm of silver-white was forged by them,
And a prophecy that murderers would one day die,
Upon the brow of Hunter’s Helm was set the Eye,
Wars and battles were fought by elves and men,
And the Eye was deemed too powerful for the open sky,
Tombs were built within the Deep, the Eye was carried to one of ten,
And there, buried for many years it shall remain,
Until the day its power, the Hunter’s Son shall gain.

And just because I agree and had my involvement with the final leader list, does not mean I do not weep for the cutting of Legolas and Beleg Strongbow... But they'll be in scenarios so that is liveable with

lol, Fëanor died at the very beginning of the First Age of the Sun, so what purpose does he have as a leader during that age?

All three of those were mainly "adventurer" heroes, not large-scale kings/generals/etc. So they work best as editor heroes for scenarios and what not.

i'm missing Fuinor - buddy to Herumor. i mean how come Herumor gets selected and not Fuinor - well don't tell me - i know - it's that upstart Lord of the Nazqûl - pfff - mingled Númenórean blood they say - and smells none to clean also. i wonder how he got the job from HIM. petty boot-licker. well atleast my bud Herumor is on the list - i'm sure he'll look after our own interests here in the South. hear me Herumor? you do that - or i'll tell everyone what kind of clothes you wear under your tunic :drunk:

Hmm, hmm, don't know if you're being sarcastic, but Fëanor wasn't really evil... He was just a fool in his wisdom, full of pride and wrath, but not evil.
Back on topic now: Why wouldn't you include Fëanor and Finwë? And Olwë and the Vanyar king (forgot his name, silly me). I think all the heroes should be included in the editor, like also Eöl and Finarfin, ....
Loonis Logghe [ aka Mithrandil ]

'Shouldn't we send him a message and call in his help?' Erestor asked. 'It seems that he even has control of the Ring.'
'No, I shouldn't say it that way,' Gandalf said. 'Rather say the Ring hasn't got control of him. He's his own master. But he can't change the ring, nor break the power it has on others.'

No, my name isn't wrong, it's just a combination of Mithrandir and Mithril: look and see: MITHRandI(L/R)

Ingwe you mean ...
and anyway, the game starts with the First Age of the Sun and Feanor and Finwe were already with Miriel in the Halls of Mandos. Olwe and Ingwe were in Aman ... and were not involved in Middle Earth ... that is why they are nnot included as leaders ... IMHO :drunk:
Although I regret Feanor is not a leader, I understand the choice since he played no role whatsoever in the First Age of the Sun ... he died before the sun rose.

All heroes, that's a lot :drunk:

I'm not speaking as a team member now because, as far as I know, this hasn't been discussed, but I'm guessing we'll have some sort of hero 'model units' to be used for "lesser" characters, much like AOK didn't have a single set of graphics and animations for every single hero.

Yes, I highly doubt we'll have unique models for every hero, or in which case we'd have every hero. But this must still be disscussed, so I'll shut up now :drunk:
