I'm looking for an image that once stood on a cover of a Dutch magazine. Since it's nowhere to be found on the internet I'd like to ask you if you recognise the statue on this picture. Sadly, it's changed but it still looks pretty much the same.

So does anyone know what statue it is (what this picture is based on I mean)? Or atleast from whom? (I know it's American...)

The face is GWB (I assume you know that) and I'm guessing that it isn't from a real statue, as it looks like a CGI. But if I'm wrong, i'd say George Washington.

I know the face is from GWB, and now it does look like CGI, but it is based on a real statue. And I don't think it's GW, GW is almost always shown as a rather old man.
If I had a better picture I would show that, but I haven't...

It looks remarkably like that man on top of Nelson's Column...

It seems to be the one, but it's pretty strange, the article was about America, not Britain... Oh well, thanks guys. ;)

(;)

I was about to post to say it is Nelson's statue when I saw he missed an arm ... then, I saw Ykkrosh's post of Trafalgar Square ;)
Well done man!
can you post the article with that picture? I would be highly interested in knowing what the connection is ... ;)
