No smilies when logged out

If I'm looking at a discussion containing something like :axeman:

, and then log out and go back to the same discussion (or to any other one), it just shows " :torch:

" instead, which doesn't seem like it ought to happen.

Actually it does, to save bandwidth when guests are here. I am thinking though, that we should change that so I am doing this now. :axeman:
