One of my posts a while back brought up the concept of soldiers' wives as wandering units in the game. One of the reasons why I suggested it was to add a level of realism to the game: not only are soldiers' wives likely to follow them if they truly love them (and yes, this happened historically, whether it was a good idea for the woman or not), but it also results in a more equal sex ratio for a civilization's population.

An altnernate suggestion would be to have, for every male unit produced (villager, soldier, etc.), a female unit (presumably a villager) is produced as well. She would be an ordinary unit. Of course, based on the economic model, this might lead to an excess of civilian units. but this might aid in realism.

Of course, Dwarves do not have an equal sex ratio.

myself from another thread said:

but i fear you won't really see much villager-interactivity in TLA at all ... (blame it on our globalized approach if you will) ;)

i hope this answers your question here and in the original thread :D

A question of scale, thing, I take it? The number of units on a map then must be humongous... :D

OK, this is OT, but it could be Jesus, nailed to a wooden cross.

And about the hints: :) I can't wait :D

'Shouldn't we send him a message and call in his help?' Erestor asked. 'It seems that he even has control of the Ring.'
'No, I shouldn't say it that way,' Gandalf said. 'Rather say the Ring hasn't got control of him. He's his own master. But he can't change the ring, nor break the power it has on others.'

No, my name isn't wrong, it's just a combination of Mithrandir and Mithril: look and see: MITHRandI(L/R)

I thought about that, but it doesn't fit.
1. The Romans hated Jesus, they worshipped take-offs of the Greek gods.
2. Jesus didn't just die nailed to a tree. He rose again after three days.
