Hi everybody. We will use this thread to list all the Forum Features that the Community wants. Just add yours here, I will add it to this very post here.

-------------

1.) PHP Tag: A php bb code tag that highlights php code.

2.) Group PMers: The ability to send a PM to an entire group.

Can we have the ability to click on the little pic next to sub-forum names and have it mark it as read?

It used to do that, but for some reason it hasn't worked since the forum upgrade...

One small feature/fix I've been wanting to mention for a while was fixing the tab order on certain forms. I use the keyboard as much as possible, so I like to type a message, press Tab to move the focus to the "Post" or "Add Reply" button, and hit Space to click the button. (Much faster than clicking with the mouse :king:)

This works on almost all forms. The reputation form is one where it doesn't work:
[IMG=http://img128.imageshack.us/img128/1943/wfgsuggestion25zd.th.png]

I've also noticed that if one opens the Quick Reply box on a page, then tries to use the Fast Reply box to type out a reply, pressing Tab moves the focus to the button on the Quick Reply box (instead of the Fast Reply box).

EDIT: Odd... BBCode seems to be temporarily disabled. Mark that for another suggestion :o

Can the rep appear when you change the skin of the forum?

When using quick edit, hitting tab takes you to the Show Smilies Pop Up Window link, it is relly annoying

Yep :king: Almost every time I use the Quick Edit box, I end up scrolling the page (because pressing Space when focused on a link scrolls the page down, at least in FF).

I've seen those chatboxes and shoutboxes on fora, and the only thing that can be found there is spam...

Yeah, plus they are usually impelemented in Java, and are clunky or make the page take forever to load. :)

Hmm... is there any reason the tags on this page aren't working? :)

Anyway, maybe reimplement that change from the old forum system so that the title would show
Topic Title -> WFG Forums, so that it's nicer on tabs and the taskbar.

Up where it says My Controls * View New Posts * My Assistant etc. - perhaps a link/feature View Last 24 Hours that shows all posts made within the past 24 hours.

How about a history forum? It could be combined with the Hall of Intellectuals.

How do you imagine this 'combine' to work, John? Make it a subforum of HOI or standalone?
