Sunburn is caused by radiation of light from the sun. Every frequency can be potentially dangerous to our organism, but Ultraviolet (the spectrum of higher frequency than the one we can see) are the most dangerous because they can penetrate farther inside our skin, burning deeper, and as we can't see it, the rays can burn us silently.
About other types of radiation, we can tolerate a certain level of radiation too, we do suffer from, for instance, carbon-14's radiation everyday as it is present inside and around us and our cellphones also emit radiation, and some car parts with radium, X-ray machines (cesium, the radioactive element, is what powers it), some medical experiments with gamma rays, etc. With this all said, we can surely conclude that if the elves have higher resistance to sunburn, they possibly can tolerate a higher level of radiation than we do.

He is just a prankster, loves to do stuff like this with me... I forgot my PC open before going to dinner and when i came back... The tragedy had already happened.
He says his pranks are intelligent because he doesn't simply spams, flames and trolls, he do all this with all his "malefic knowledge"... and a lot of google!
