Availability: My schedule fluctuates a lot, I have about 10-20 hours per week available. Six months from now I will be in the middle of my final project at school so my availability will drop off temporarily.

Skills and Experience: I have a lot of experience with C++, C#, JavaScript, XML, PHP, and some other scripting languages. I am currently in school getting my bachelor's degree in Game Development. I have written a few games, from the ground up, alone and in teams here at school. I am experienced in writing multi-threaded game engines and game systems in C++. I am nearing the end of my degree, and learning more every day. I have also worked on the side on several Windows applications and have worked in a few level editors, mostly the WarCraft 3 World Editor. I am also knowledgeable in writing tools for game content creation, such as level editors, animation editors, particle editors, etc. I also have some experience writing networking code. I am good at finding solutions to problems and making them happen. I am experienced and capable in all areas of game programming. While gameplay programming is my preferred choice, I would also consider other positions. Anything I do not know I have the resources to figure it out.
What qualifies you for this position? What experience have you had in the past?
Motivation: I have always been interested in games and computers since my first Nintendo and my first Apple IIe computer as a kid. Making games is what I want to do with my life. It is my outlet for creativity, and a very rewarding experience.

Short Essay: I found out about Wildfire from a classmate. What I have seen so far about the game looks very promising. I would like the chance to work on a more large scale game such as this one. I like the idea of an open source game as well. It is an idea I have considered in the past, and I would like to be part of it. What I seek to gain is the experience of working on a larger game, and seeing it through, something I can put in my portfolio.
How and when did you find out about Wildfire Games? What motivates you to be a part of the project? What do you seek to gain in being a part of Wildfire Games?
Interests and Hobbies: I am usually either working on some side project, or writing an application for someone in my free time. Otherwise, I am out with my friends, spending time with my girlfriend, or playing a game.

Community: I mostly visit sites related to finding out information about games such as mmorpg.com and game company's web sites. I also occasionally read articles on sites such as gamasutra and gamedev.
